Trauma Centre of Australia operates a number of different business units including Corpsychcare. As one of Australia’s leading providers of Critical Incident Response Services, our Psychologists and Counsellors are often asked to provide more general psychological support to staff of client organisations.

Over the years, the idea of forming a specific Employee Assistance Program (EAP) service division was developed and Corpsychcare was formed in 2010 to fill this need. It now forms a very fundamental part of our overall service delivery meeting the needs of a number of different organisation who want to look after the psychological well being of employees and management.

As the CEO of Trauma Centre of Australia and heading up the Corpsychcare Division, Peter Horton is a registered Psychologist with more than 20 years experience. He has over 10 years experience as a teacher and lecturer and has previously worked as a school counsellor, as well as being Head Clinician at a large national organisational psychology firm. Peter is well regarded as an addictions expert, particularly gambling, eating disorders and drugs of abuse; he was employed as a Senior Clinician at Odyssey House Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre for a number of years. Following on from this Peter worked for a number of years with a large national provider of employee assistance and critical response services.
